    Q&A from the cedar cabin

I'm coughing in your ear. Again.

This comes to you in the hopes that you'll forget that I was supposed to promptly share video of the launch party. Launch party? What launch party?

It was good to hear your voice my friend. I'm so excited for you and about the Dread Crew (I'm halfway through!)

Thanks for the danger vs. dignity discourse, Kate. We get quite crippled by fear in our society. To our demise, I believe. Awaiting the book anxiously! Now if I could only remember where I preordered it from so I can be a skinner rat and keep pushing at the shiny bar.

My favorite parts were (speaking of baby loss and mommy whining): "Those two things aren't really reconcilable, are they?" and
"I don't think you need as much sleep when you're lit up."

So great, this little cabin monologue. No wonder you have insomnia. You have a cabin like that? I'd be sneaking out to it like a high-schooler missing the party of the year too!

Know what was waiting for me when I got home last night?? Yippee! I started it last night while giving my boys a bath (nearly 2 and 3.5 yo) and they saw the cover and starting yelling, "Pirates! Pirates!" :)

Kate, I can't see your movie--------akkkkkkkkkk! I'm sure everything went well. You're my heroine-------going out and getting your book published and all. Congrats from the other side of Canada: the wild + wet Vancouver Island.

i, an avid listener of podcasts, enjoyed applying my makeup while listening your lovely and articulate self answer questions in what was an extremely coherent and thoughtful way. i understood everything you meant, because as writers, our processes are individually nebulous in some ways.

i really DO want to hear all about your launch etc etc and all of it.

i'm a fan! i'll come right out and say it. i wish we were friends.

Arrrgh.. don't know why it won't work for me. Have Shockwave Flash, Windows Media Player 10... Will keep trying. Would love to hear your voice (and hear my question answered!).

ignore my last comment! I worked it out. Fascinating. And thank you for answering my question (and your lovely email).

Woozles is sending my book to the UK. Sonny (nearly 10) is checking the mail daily. As am I.

There are a lot of Alisons about. I'm the one with the heaving bosom and empire line dress in Brighton.

Stephanie - you need to have something like Windows Media Player installed. Right click on the Properties tab on the Play button and copy and paste the url (but starting only from the http bit) into the bar at the top of the player. I hope that makes sense. I am totally non-techie but that's how I did it.
